In support of CALM (our 2023 Charity of the Year), Route 101 are excited to host a 5-a-side football tournament in Bristol on Thursday 30th March.
With 8 teams, including squads comprised of our own employees, teams from vendor partners NICE, Gamma, and Sycurio, alongside local organisations in and around Bristol including Peaple Talent, Red Recruitment and Navos, players will be competing for the inaugural Route 101 Charity Cup.
The tournament takes place at Lockleaze Sports Centre in Bristol on a 3g Pitch between 12 and 4pm on the afternoon of the 30th of March. There is a bar for refreshments and all spectators are welcome. We are still taking submissions from teams who want to take part, we just ask for a donation to CALM. If you are interested, please send us an email to find out more.
If that wasn’t enough, spectators and players will be able to enter the charity raffle to win some fantastic prizes; including a £50 experience day voucher which was very kindly donated by Experience Days, an afternoon tea, and much more.
If you would like to buy a raffle ticket then please get in touch.
Why CALM?
The Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM), is a charity that is taking a stand against suicide. This means standing against feeling rubbish, standing up to stereotypes, and standing together to show life is always worth living.
125 lives are lost every week to suicide. CALM exists to change this and they do it by provoking conversation, running life-saving services, and bringing people together so they reject living miserably, get help when they need it and don't die by suicide.
In 2021, CALM answered over 155,000 calls and webchats. That's more than 1 million minutes of talking to people who need them. This achievement has only been possible thanks to the generosity of CALM’s extraordinary supporters. It costs just £8 to fund a potentially life-saving call or web chat.
Stand with Route 101 and CALM and help us save lives.
